What is Systems for Life?
We build life-skills programs for children, delivered directly through schools and daycare centres. Lima Charlie supports younger children (ages 3–6) with sensory regulation and calm; Charlie Mike (ages 6–8) builds executive function, discipline, and physical confidence through a structured movement and mindset framework.
How do I enrol my child in Charlie Mike?
Charlie Mike is booked directly through our website — head to the Charlie Mike page to view current pricing and complete checkout.
How do I enrol my child in Lima Charlie?
It depends on your centre. Some centres handle Lima Charlie enrolment and billing as part of their own fees — check with them directly. If your centre prefers parents to register and pay with us directly, you can do that on our Lima Charlie page.
Are you a registered NDIS provider?
We support Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS funding for both programs. We are not currently registered for NDIA-managed funding, which means families using that funding category aren't able to use our services under it at this time.
What are your safety and screening checks? Full Working With Children Check and police check compliance are maintained and available on request. See our Behind the System page for our qualifications and credentials.
What happens to photos/videos I consent to? Handled exactly as described in our Privacy Policy's Media & Recording section — used only for Systems for Life purposes, not shared with third parties.
Where does Lima Charlie run, and what does a session look like?
Delivered on-site at partner daycare and kindergarten centres in the afternoon, supporting the transition out of a big day. Sessions run 4 days a week, ongoing (not a fixed term), capped at 12 children per group. Each session is 50 minutes, with 5 minutes either side to move children in and out of the program smoothly. If numbers require it, a group can be split into two separate back-to-back sessions.
What does it cost?
Pricing is arranged directly with your child's centre as part of their program fees — speak to your centre for current details.
Can I use NDIS funding?
Yes — Self-Managed and Plan-Managed, under Early Childhood / Capacity Building – Increased Social and Community Participation.
What if my child misses a session?
Lima Charlie is an ongoing program rather than a fixed sequence, so there's no need for a formal catch-up — your child simply continues with the group at their next session, building the same regulation skills at their own pace.
What if I need to withdraw or cancel?
As Lima Charlie is arranged directly through your child's centre, cancellation and notice period details follow your centre's own enrolment terms — please check with them directly.
Where does Charlie Mike run, and what does a session look like?
Delivered on-site at partner schools, before the school day begins. Children transition straight into class afterward — no separate pickup required. Currently partnering with local schools to host sessions; location confirmed once your school's partnership is finalised.
What should my child wear or bring?
Dark, plain exercise clothing is preferred, along with runners, a water bottle, and a small towel and face flannel for freshening up before school.
What does it cost?
$1,232 AUD for the full 8-week term (16 sessions @ $77/class). Founding pilot families can use code FREECLASS for one session free in exchange for media/marketing permissions — note this pilot rate reflects being among our first families; video content and testimonials will follow once the program is fully underway.
Can I use NDIS funding?
Yes — Self-Managed participants receive an instant tax invoice at checkout for portal reimbursement. Plan-Managed families can select that option or enter code PLANMANAGED at checkout.
What if my child misses a session?
Because classes are strictly capped, we're unable to offer 1:1 catch-ups or drop-in makeup sessions. If your child misses a class, we'll provide a written overview of what was covered so you're able to go through it with them at home.
What if I need to withdraw partway through the term?
The first 3 sessions of the term act as a trial to make sure Charlie Mike is the right fit for your child. If you withdraw within this trial, you'll only be charged for the sessions attended, with the remainder refunded. Outside of illness, injury, or other special circumstances (assessed at our discretion), places are strictly capped and reserved in advance — if you withdraw after the trial period, we're happy to arrange a replacement child to take the vacated spot; without a replacement, the enrolment fee is forfeited, as the place cannot be resold retrospectively.
Is the disciplined, high-standard style too intense for my child?
Every activity is built with intention, not intensity for its own sake. We hold every child to a real standard because we believe they're capable of it — we don't lower the expectation, we simply adjust how we support each child in meeting it.
Withdrawal/Refund Policy (Charlie Mike — confirmed)
The first 3 sessions of the term act as a good-fit trial. Withdrawing during this window means you're only charged for sessions attended, with the remainder refunded. After the trial, places are strictly capped and reserved in advance, so withdrawing means the enrolment fee is forfeited unless a replacement child can be found to take the vacated spot — in which case, a credit toward the next term can be arranged instead of a refund. Illness, injury, or other special circumstances are treated as exceptions and assessed at our discretion.
Lima Charlie has no separate policy to write here — cancellation and billing sit with each partner centre's own terms, as reflected in the FAQ above.
